Week 1
Over the course of week one of me reading chapters 1-5 I have became familiar with the characters of the store. i have seen the ways of live in the 1940 in Louisiana . i have seen how life was for a African American male and female. Seeing through Grants eyes on what he saw about the things that was going on . Jefferson was accused of killing a white man and robbery , but not once did they mention the two black men who were killed. while Jefferson was will alive able to take the liquor and money.
notes from october 15th
i read the spark notes on chapter 6-10 what i got from the spark notes was that grant was dating a women who was married and was in the process of getting divorced. Grant went spook to Mr Henri brother in law and he approved him seeing Jefferson . they went to go to visit Jefferson Jefferson has a sour attitude and did not want to be bothered. so ms Emma got ill and could not go to one of Jefferson's visits and grant got mad because he didn't want to go alone.
